This is a pair (2) of new high quality reproduction outside door mirrors.  Shown here on a very nice 1955 Pontiac.  These mirrors are similar to the original equipment mirrors found on many 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s cars.  They are an exact reproduction of mirrors offered by GM in the mid ’50’s.  The mirrors have no GM markings.  These exact mirrors are here shown in pictures on beautiful 1956 Pontiac Star Chief 2 door hard top.  This picture was taken at the Pontiac National Meet in 2015.  The mirrors are ALL METAL as original.  The cast alloy base is bright chrome.  The mirror back is polished stainless steel.  The 4.5 inch lens is optical quality tinted glass as original.  The same mirror is used on both left and right sides of the car.  The mirror sits 6 inches high.  They come with a template (for the correct placement of the two screws), molded rubber gasket with lip around the perimeter,  and two mounting screws.  The mirrors attach to the car as original.  One screw (unseen) is under the mirror and slides into a key-hole shaped slot in bracket in  the mirror base.  The second screw goes into a counter sunk hole in the rear of the mirror base (see picture for this hole).  This locks the mirror in place.  The screws are 4 inches apart.  The “footprint” of the mirror with molded gasket is 6 1/2 inches X 1 3/8 inches.  The mirror heads are firmly attached to the mirror base for secure adjustment that stays in place when you speed or slam the door.  I personally inspect every mirror before shipment.  I am pleased to offer such a high quality mirror.   Complete installation instructions are included.  Your satisfaction 100% guaranteed or your money quickly and cheerfully refunded.   I intend to please everyone.  These mirrors are flat glass as original.  Single mirrors are available.  Safe arrival is guaranteed.  Bruce,  Joliet, Illinois
